Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Construction Senior Inspector (N3) with experience in force main installation and CIPP slip lining for a project in Camillus, NY (Onondaga County). This role begins in mid to late October 2025 and involves overseeing and inspecting construction activities at various stages to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory standards. The Senior Inspector will work on-site to monitor contractor performance, document progress, and support successful project delivery. The hours for this position are 7:00 AM EDT to 3:30 PM EDT. Additional overtime as needed.

What you'll be able to do:

Construction Oversight:

• Serve as the on-site Senior Inspector for force main and CIPP slip lining installation.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications.
• Conduct daily field inspections and prepare thorough documentation of site activities and progress.
• Identify and report construction issues, non-conformance, or safety concerns.
• Enforce safety practices in accordance with OSHA and project-specific standards.

Project Administration:

• Maintain detailed daily reports of site conditions, labor, equipment, and progress.
• Track construction quantities.
• Use Procore and other project documentation software to support project recordkeeping.
• Coordinate materials testing, verification of construction tolerances, and inspection procedures. • Provide regular updates to the EIC on project status and issues.

The minimum requirements we seek:

• NICET Level III certification or equivalent experience (required).
• At least 10 years of relevant inspection experience, including force main and CIPP slip lining projects (preferred).
• Proficiency with computer-aided project administration (Procore preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field (preferred). Equivalent experience may be considered.
• OSHA 10 certification and strong knowledge of construction site safety practices.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project site in Onondaga County.
