Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
Join a dynamic team where you will play a vital role in supplying fresh produce and vegetables to grocery stores. As a warehouse worker, you will utilize a pallet jack and RF scanner to pick and assemble orders. You will be responsible for building stable and well-cubed pallets for shipping, and ensuring they are shrink-wrapped, labeled correctly with truck and destination information. Additionally, you'll maintain clean and debris-free warehouse areas.
Responsibilities
Pick and assemble orders using pallet jack and RF scanner.
Build stable and well-cubed pallets for shipping.
Shrink wrap and label products/pallets accurately.
Ensure warehouse areas are kept clean, dry, and free from debris.
Essential Skills
Experience in order picking and shipping/receiving.
Ability to lift 50lbs consistently throughout the shift.
Self-motivated with skills in warehouse packing, heavy lifting, and forklift operation.
Proficient in using RF scanners and managing inventory counts.
Capacity for general labor, material handling, and loading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work in a cool environment (35-50 degrees).
Flexibility on shift end times, which may vary with the seasons.

Work Environment
4pm until the work is done. Enjoy a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and 15-minute paid breaks. The work environment is cool, ranging from 35-50 degrees, requiring warm attire such as sweatshirts and winter hats. The team consists of roughly 10 employees per shift, all contributing to a collaborative and productive atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
