Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking entry-level Pharmacy Technicians for a grocery retail pharmacy in Cheektowaga, NY. This is a temp-to-hire or direct hire opportunity offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail setting. Ideal for candidates looking to grow their pharmacy career.
Position Details:
Type: Temp-to-Hire or Permanent
Setting: Grocery Retail Pharmacy
Schedule: Variable shifts including weekends
Location: Cheektowaga, NY
Key Responsibilities:
Retrieve medications, count or pour, label, and price prescriptions (final check by pharmacist required)
Enter customer data, maintain records, and plete necessary paperwork
Follow direction from on-duty pharmacist and pharmacy manager
Maintain security of all controlled substances
Stock pharmacy shelves, manage supply inventory, and check in deliveries
Perform general housekeeping duties within the pharmacy
Process orders, fill prescriptions, and handle payments
Properly handle and store products to minimize shrink
Qualifications:
Active New York Pharmacy Technician registration (required)
PTCB certification (preferred, not required)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Basic math and puter skills
Clear munication and customer service skills
Reliable and team-oriented mindset
