We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a 3-month contract basis in Dallas, Texas. This role involves overseeing critical accounting processes, maintaining financial systems, and ensuring accurate reporting in a dynamic environment. If you have a strong background in accounting and a keen eye for detail, this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced organization. This is a 3-month contract role, 100% ONSITE days a week in the office in Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly journal entries to ensure accuracy.

• Manage the company’s fixed asset system for both financial reporting and tax purposes, including tracking construction in progress and software development projects.

• Collaborate with domestic and international accounting teams to maintain consistent accounting practices across the organization.

• Assist in the preparation of consolidated quarterly and annual public filings, as well as internal financial reports.

• Review and input general journal entries into the ledger, ensuring data is accurate and complete.

• Analyze subsidiary journals for discrepancies and correct any errors before entering data into the general ledger.

• Execute month-end closing entries and oversee all tasks related to the general ledger.

• Support the review of financial statements to ensure they align with accounting principles and standards.

• Contribute to special accounting projects as needed to support organizational goals.

• Hold a Master’s degree in Accounting or possess equivalent experience.
• Have a minimum of two years of Big 4 public accounting experience or four years with a publicly traded company.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Be proficient in advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
• Exhibit the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Showcase strategic thinking and decision-making abilities with strong problem-solving skills.
• Possess excellent attention to detail and accuracy in follow-up tasks.
• Display effective verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
