Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. This includes receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming raw materials, as well as ensuring the accuracy of materials pulled and issued for production. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the shipping department in preparing finished goods for outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record all incoming raw materials.
Verify quantities and quality against packing lists and purchase orders.
Pull and issue materials as required for production jobs.
Maintain accurate records of all material movements to the production floor.
Return unused or excess materials from production back to inventory.
Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and recorded in the inventory system.
Package, label, and prepare finished goods for outgoing shipments.
Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure orders are complete and accurately documented.
Perform inventory counts.
Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Essential Skills
1+ year of material handling experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
1+ year of forklift experience.
1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
1+ year of data entry and inventory tracking experience.
Forklift certification.
Experience with Epicor is a plus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
The work environment is a 55,000 sq/ft facility that is well-lit, organized, and climate-controlled. Employees will stand continuously for an 8-hour shift and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
