Job Description

A K-12 school in Waukegan, IL, is seeking a Paraprofessional on a contract basis for the current school year. This role supports classroom teachers by assisting with instructional activities and providing additional help to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction and help implement lesson plans
• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
• Support students with special needs, ensuring their safety and inclusion
• Help prepare classroom materials and maintain a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student progress and classroom management

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
