Job Description

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in Welding/Fabrication (shop pipe fabrication experience strongly preferred) with demonstrated ASME Section I, V, VIII, B31.1, B31.3, B31.8, API 1104 application.
• Practical welding background and working knowledge of ASME Section IX (WPS/PQR/WPQ).
• Ability to read isometrics and shop sheet drawings.
• Proficiency with ITPs/SDRs, quality records management and understanding customer requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.

Preferred:

• AWS CWI (or equivalent VT credentials)
• NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector certification and hands on industrial coatings QA (SSPC/NACE/AMPP)
• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgy/Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in a union shop and with major owner/EPC specifications (refining/chemical/power)
