Warehouse Associate - Shipping and Moving - Addison, IL
1st shift - $17/hr
Job Description
Join our dynamic team to assist in relocating materials from one building to another as part of our facility consolidation. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth transition of materials and involves physically demanding tasks within a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in the relocation of materials from the closing building to the new location.
Lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs or more.
Use computer systems for data entry and tracking orders.
Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to transport materials safely.
Use step ladders and read location labels to ensure accuracy.
Maintain organization and efficiency during the moving process.
Essential Skills
Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
Proficiency in using a computer for data entry.
Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with shrink wrapping and using a pallet jack.
Proficiency in using RF scanners.
High School Diploma is preferred.
Military experience is a plus.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Work Environment
Work in a clean and organized warehouse environment with five different levels and long rows that light up as you walk. You can enjoy a quiet atmosphere where listening to music through speakers is welcomed. Our schedule runs Monday through Saturday with lower expectations on Saturdays. Benefit from two paid 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
