Job Title: TIG Welder

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Overview

Join a stable, well-established manufacturing team as a skilled TIG Welder. This role focuses on Turntable TIG Welding (foot-operated) for hydraulic components, including pump liners and custom tube assemblies. You'll work primarily with round, thin-wall tubing—80% mild steel, 20% stainless steel—in a high-production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding, including overhead and turntable (foot pedal) operations

• Weld hydraulic pump liners, formed tube assemblies, and custom manifolds

• Fit and fabricate tubular components

• Handle production runs averaging 50 pieces

Qualifications

• 2+ years of TIG welding experience or technical degree

• Proficient in blueprint reading

• Comfortable with overtime and fast-paced production

• Strong attendance and teamwork skills

Work Environment

• Large, non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility

• 10–20 hours of overtime available weekly

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
