Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with 5+ years in IR and neuro interventional radiology, including experience with strokes and complex vascular procedures.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Position is based in an interventional radiology clinic setting serving adolescent and adult patients
  • Responsibilities include scrub and circulating roles in interventional and neuro IR cases, with coverage for stroke, AAA, and body IR procedures
  • Primary shift consists of four 10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with 1-2 on-call nights per week and one on-call weekend per month
  • Expect coverage within the operating room and flexibility to staff various work locations and shift lengths
  • EPIC EMR is used and experience is required
  • Duties include producing high-quality images in both radiology suites and operating rooms
  • Must be able to practice safety guidelines for self, patients, and support personnel
  • Effective communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment are required
  • Candidates must maintain flexibility for varied shift times, on-call coverage, and work locations
  • Scrubs are required for the role
\n \n Requirements\n
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or eligibility with certification obtained before start
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT)
  • ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) required within 18 months of start
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
  • Minimum 5 years of interventional radiology experience, including neuro IR with stroke and AAA procedures, as well as body IR
  • Proficiency in sterile environments and aseptic technique preferred
  • Experience with scrub and circulating duties required
  • Active license required if applicable
  • COVID vaccination and booster required for consideration
