Veterinary Assistant at Crossroads Animal Care Center

Woodbridge, VA | Full-Time

Pay

• Competitive hourly rate: $19–$23/hr.

Schedule

• 10–12 hour shifts
  • Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
  • Sat: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM (rotating weekends)

What You’ll Do

• Assist with patient restraint, treatments, sample collection, and routine lab work
• Support dental and surgical workflows (prep/cleanup, instrument handling, anesthesia monitoring assist)
• Keep exam rooms and treatment areas spotless and stocked
• Communicate clearly with pet parents about basic care and next steps
• Pitch in wherever needed to keep the day flowing

What You’ll Bring

• 0–2+ years in a veterinary setting preferred (we value attitude and teachability)
• Strong teamwork, professionalism, and client-communication skills
