JOB SUMMARY:

This is a full-time position with an established engineering consulting firm in Chattanooga, TN. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in supporting CAD and Revit projects in an architectural and/or engineering capacity. Candidate must have the experience and ability to work with engineers and collaborate with clients during the design and layout of commercial, retail, healthcare, hospitality, municipal and industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems. The ideal candidate will be personable and enjoy interacting with clients and coworkers in a team environment. Successful Candidate will be responsible for but not limited to managing CAD/Revit project setup, managing cloud-based models, updating models/backgrounds, creating templates, creating families, managing standards and procedures related to CAD/Revit production, modeling/drafting of MEPFP systems and being a technical resource to engineers and designers.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Proficiency in the use of Revit and AutoCad (5 years’ experience in each is a must)
• Proficient in the use of Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Proficient in BIM Coordination tools such as Navisworks, and the BIM coordination process
• Proficient in Windows based operating system and MS Office, including word and excel.
• Direct Project setup and maintaining of all job models/backgrounds
• Troubleshooting issues CAD/Revit issues experienced by designers/engineers
• Develop and maintain CAD/Revit standards, libraries, families, etc.
• Develop Revit families, templates, and productivity tools
• Train new hires in operation of CAD/Revit
• Provide project support for electronic file submission
• Punctual, self-motivated, and organized
• Stay updated with industry trends, software updates, and emerging technologies
• Manage software licenses and hardware requirements for BIM/CAD tools
• Must be able to handle and manage time across multiple simultaneous projects.

WHAT WE OFFER:

This postion includes a competive salary range of $75k-$110k annually. Vacation, holiday pay, medical & dental insurance, retirement plan, and short & long term disability insurance also included.

LOCATION :

Chattanooga, TN

This is an in-office position.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors or Associated degree with a technical background preferred but not required based on experience.

EXPERIENCE:

5 years minimum experience required in the required skills mentioned above.
