What You Will Experience In This Position:

  • Install electrical equipment, components, and devices with precision.
  • Measures, cuts, and bends wire and conduit.
  • Drills holes for wiring and pulls or pushes wiring through openings.
  • Assists in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit, switchgear, MCC's, etc.
  • Maintains tools & equipment, and cleans work area.
  • Keep supplies and parts in order.
  • Adhere to safety requirements and hazard awareness procedures.
  • Attend a technical college for paid related instruction.

You Have:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop skills in the electrical field.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Dedication to completing a five-year apprenticeship program, plus a minimum two-year commitment upon completion of the apprenticeship program.
  • Ability to pass required math and reading tests.
