Join an experienced surgeon (Pittsburgh native and University of Pittsburgh Neurosurgery trained) on a partnership track in a thriving surgical practice which provides the full range of spine care, with a bias towards minimally invasive, motion preserving, ambulatory surgery.
SSA currently has 3 offices surrounding the greater Pittsburgh area, and ownership in two Ambulatory Surgery Centers. The practice also has a presence at a privately owned orthopedic specialty hospital, and a full service university affiliated hospital where more complex spinal procedures including navigation are performed. The candidate will provide exclusive support to the spine service at a newly affiliated suburban hospital.
The candidate stepping into this role will benefit from long established referral patterns, presence in several Pittsburgh suburbs, strong relationships with the independent medical community including multiple pain management, orthopedic, and neurology groups.
Compensation is competitive, and includes full health benefits, and 401k.
The practice provides autonomy and great work life balance. No trauma call.
MD or DO degree, with eligibility for PA license.
Board Certified/Board Eligible and completed Fellowship in Spine Surgery
1-2 Years of experience preferred, but will consider those completing fellowship in 2026.
Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
